Please note the following :· Lessons are available on 1st come 1st serve basis.· Tennis is a physical sport and a certain level of discipline with regards to fitness and behavior is needed. (specially Juniors )· Students who wish to progress from High Beginner to Intermediate and then on the Advanced are expected to challenge themselves with regards to skills development, fitness level, nutritional habits, work ethics , effort level, to move to the next level .· In today’s technological age we are used to double-clicking the mouse and instantly getting the job done, its not the same with tennis. It comes with progression and takes time, effort , hard work and dedication.· Juniors who wish to be in the Advance groups or have moved to Advance Level are required to take part in OTA Junior tournaments . We take our fun seriously . We help our students develop in a healthy competitive environment . Ladder formats , mini-junior challenger games will be a part of our Junior Tennis Development programmes. Please note our Junior programmes are to develop students to move up different levels and our coaches strongly make all possible efforts in doing so, rest is up to the child. Evaluation will be done at the end of the Spring , Summer and Fall sessions.· If you coming for 1 hour of tennis lesson a week, you are expected to do minimum of 2 hours of off court fitness activities per week. This could be jogging, cycling, playing another physical sport.· Please note that there may be a time when your level either moves upwards or downwards in tennis depending on the amount of practice you put or don't put. You could have been an intermediate player, but if you have not been playing for a while , others have improved , and hence may need to sharpen your skills again. The world’s top men’s and/or women’s players also move up and down their ranking.· If a junior does / doesn't need to be pushed to get better, please let us know .· Please note digital &/or Video analysis may also be used occasionally to monitor your progress. Should you have any objection, please let us know .· Fitness related articles and other tennis related articles will be emailed periodically. Please forward your email address to bosco.fernandes@rogers.com should you wish to be added to mailing list.Thank you |
