Forehand
Have you ever imagined yourself standing like a Sumo Wrestler.....No / Yes....Well...try the open stance forehand. It will help you with the following problems

1. You will always hit the ball from front of you, which is very important if you hit the ball late.

2. You never loose site of the court in front of you and the position your opponent is in

3. Its a very good position to generate good topspin forehand shots.

4. Your always in a well balance position. Thus maintaining total control on your shot.

Have control on that low volley.
In order to hit great volley even if they are low, you must get low for the ball. And this can be easily achieved .

If you are a Left Handed player and are faced with a fast low ball on your forehand side take your left foot at least 3 feet behind the original position. Your right knee automatically bends helping you get low to those low shot......Try it...its great !
And the same likewise should you be hitting a backhand (if you are left handed) take your right leg at least 3 feet behind and vice versa should you be a Right handed player.
